### Recipe Details
Serves 6-8.
### Ingredients
- [ ] spaghetti (or similar), one pack
- [ ] bacon, ½ pack cut into small pieces
- [ ] asparagus, 1 bundle cut into 1 inch pieces
- [ ] peas, ⅔ cup
- [ ] butter, 1 tbsp
- [ ] olive oil, to cover bottom of pot
- [ ] pasta water, 1-2 cups
- [ ] parmesan and/or manchego, 1 cup grated
- [ ] salt and pepper to taste
- [ ] olive oil for serving
### Directions
1. Set a large pot of salted water to boil, cook pasta, drain.
2. Cook [[no mess bacon|bacon]] to desired crispiness, dry, cut, and put aside.
3. Chop asparagus, defrost peas, and grate cheese.
4. In a large pot, heat up olive oil and butter. Add cooked and drained pasta and mix using tongs. While mixing slowly add starchy pasta water. Stop when you are happy with how much and how creamy the sauce is.
5. Add in cheese, stir until melted, then add in bacon, asparagus, and peas.
6. Serve and top with pepper and/or nice olive oil to serve.
### Notes
- Its helpful to stop cooking the pasta _just_ before its al dente, since it will cook a touch more when combining ingredients
